Reflecting on Prayer

Jesus often went away alone to pray to his Heavenly Father. The disciples wanted to follow in his example, so they went to Jesus and asked "Lord, teach us to pray."
Jesus then teaches his disciples to pray, replying with the words of the Lord's Prayer.

Jesus encouraged his disciples to pray and also said,"my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name". John 16:23-24

Therefore, we should have faith when we pray and expect God to provide for us.

Ask, Seek, Knock

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 17:7-8

This Biblical scripture offers hope and assurance that God will answer our prayers, and He will help us through difficult times in life. Open your heart to God's promises. Prayer brings us into God's loving presence, so we can receive His guidance and blessings.

It was Jesus' prayer, in his final days with his disciples, that all Christians in ages to come would be united as one.
